Set the Main Tuning Control FULL CW.

The front panel Frequency Display should indicate the high end point of RF
Frequency Band 1 (0.035 MHz). If not, refer to Table 4.6 and adjust the compo-
nent listed under the "High" column for "Frequency Adjustments".

Repeat substeps 1 thru 4 until RF Frequency Band 1 meets the stated frequency
range specification.

Using an external Signal Generator, apply a 0.0022 MHz CW signal at an input
level of +40 dB(µV) to A2J4 (RF Input).

Tune the receiver for a maximum indication on the front panel analog meter, the
front panel digital meter should in40 dB(µV) ±1.0 dB.
"Only" when the
RF frequency band amplitude level does not meet the "stated specification lim-
its" should the following procedure be performed
.

Refer to Table 4.6 and adjust the component listed under the "Overall Gain"
column for "RF Adjustments" for +40 dB(µV) ±1.0 dB.
