After removing the RF Tuner Module, lay a piece of masonite or similar material
across the receiver and set the RF Tuner Module on it.

Reconnect the following cables and connectors.
1)
A2P3 to A16J5.
2)
A2P4B to A16J4B.
3)
A2P5 to A16J5.
4)
A2P6B to A16J6B.
5)
A2A16A6-P4A to A16J4A.
6)
A2A16A5-P6A to A16J6A.
7)
A2J1 (flexible coaxial cable) to RF Tuner.
8)
A2J2 (flexible coaxial cable) to RF Tuner.
9)
A2J3 (flexible coaxial cable) to RF Tuner.
10)
A2J5 (flexible coaxial cable) to RF Tuner.
d.
Turn-on the receiver.
Do Not Calibrate The EM-2115
, i.e by pushing the front
panel CAL Switch. Leave the receiver in the "UNCAL" mode, e.i. UNCAL indi-
cator "lighted" unless otherwise indicated, throughout the following preocedures.
4.4.11.1 Local Oscillator Level Adjustment
a.
Set the front panel controls as follows:
DETECTOR ...................................................PEAK
BANDWIDTH ...............................................9/10 kHz
ATTENUATION ...........................................0 dB
FREQUENCY RANGE .................................0.009-0.035 MHz.
FREQUENCY DISPLAY ..............................0.022 MHz
b.
Connect an Oscilloscope to A2A16A1-E28 (LO Output) on the Stator Board
(A2A16A1) using a X1 probe.
c.
The Oscilloscope should indicate 400 mVpp. If not, adjust A2A16A1-R52 (Oscil-
lator Level).
