The meter generates traps when certain things occur. The following conditions can be
programmed to generate traps (see D.4: RFCs, on page D-8):

• Limit/Alarm State Change

• Digital Input Change

• Waveform Capture

• PQ (CBEMA) Event

• Relay Output Change of State

• Transient Capture

In addition, the meter generates network traps when the following conditions occur:

• Cold Start - this trap is generated when the meter has been initialized.

• Authentication Failure - this trap is generated when an SNMP message was received

with an incorrect community field.
