11.8.6.1: Overview
The Analog Transducer Signal Output module is used to convert digital values from
the meter into a variable voltage level presented on the output terminal to be used
with analog devices, such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
The Analog Transducer Signal Output modules (0±1 mA or 4-20 mA) are available in
either a 4- or 8-channel configuration. Maximum registers per request, read or write,
is 17 registers.
All outputs share a single common point. This is also an isolated connection (from
ground).
11.8.6.2: Normal Mode
Normal mode is the same for the 0-1 mA and the 4-20 mA Analog Output modules
except for the number of processes performed by the modules.
Both devices:
1. Accept new values through communication
2. Output current loops scaled from previously accepted values
The 0-1 mA module includes one more process in its Normal mode:
3. Reads and averages the A/D and adjust values for Process 2, above
The device operates with the following default parameters:
Address
247 (F7H)
Baud Rate
57600 Baud
Transmit Delay Time
20 msec
