Sync Block:
Block sync-check functions.
52CSClosed
The close contact of control switch is in closed position. When
the breaker is tripped from protection other than the manual
switch, there will be a disagreement between the control switch
and breaker status (like 52a or 52b). Use 52CSClosed and 52b
can generate an automatic reclose initiate.
ARInit
This is a user-defined autoreclose initiate signal.
ARBlock
This is a user-defined autoreclose block signal.
IncShot
This is a user-defined incrementing autoreclose shot signal.
ARLock
This is a user-defined autoreclose lockout signal.
RstLock
This is a user-defined autoreclose lockout resetting signal.
Start1
This is a user-defined motor start signal.
Start2
This is another user-defined motor start signal.
Stop
This is a user-defined motor stop signal.
StartBlock
This is a user-defined motor start block signal.
PD
This is the output from a partial discharge device.
ThermSwitch
This is the output from a Therm Switch device.
Vibration
This is the output from a device that measures vibrations.
Pressure
This is the output from a device that indicates pressure (dropping
or rising).
87Trip
This is the output from a differential protection device.
ZeroSpeed
This is the zero speed signal from a speed detecting device.
TachPulse
This is a pulse signal that reflects rotating machine speed.
5.4.5.2 RTD Input Configuration Settings (RTD Input
Config)
These settings are directly linked to the I/O Configuration setting.
The I/O Config setting in the System Config settings menu must
be set to "Custom" for the RTD Input Config settings to be
configured by the user. Otherwise, the RTD Input Config settings
are set to the default settings as shown in Section 5.5.
Note that the URTD was designed with the intention to be used
with the motor relay like the MP-3000. Pay attention to the
specific labeled assignments of the 11 URTD input channels. The
first six are specially intended for up to six RTDs embedded in the
motor stator winding. Inputs 7 and 8 are especially for motor
bearing RTDs. Inputs 9 and 10 are especially for load bearings.
Input 11 is an auxiliary general-use input. When a URTD is used
with the FP-6000, it can be used for not only a motor but also a
generator, transformer, cable and etc. The FP-6000 treats all the
RTD channels as general-use inputs. Therefore, care must be
taken to make sure the RTD assignments are corresponded with
the intended applications.
The RTD measurements are monitored in real time and displayed
under the Monitor menu. These measurements can be also
remotely accessed through the PowerNet software or the
software that supports INCOM protocol. The maximum value
along with its time stamp for each RTD channel is recorded and
can be viewed from the front panel display or the PowerNet
software. The time resolution of the RTD measurements is
subjected to the limit of URTD device. The RTD measurements
are also recorded in the waveform capture and they can also be
logged in the datalog if selected.
RTD Input Configuration
The FP-6000 enables its fiber optic communication port to URTD,
which is offered separately and is able to provide 11 direct
temperature measurements. With URTD connected to the relay,
the FP-6000 is able to provide the temperature related overload
alarm and trip functions.
Each RTD can be assigned to some dedicated spots such as
windings, rotor bearing, load bearing, top oil, and user-defined
spots.
Ambient
Ambient temperature.
TopOil
For the transformer protection application, it is referred to the
temperature of the top surface of insulation oil. It can be used for
a user-defined spot.
HotSpot
For the transformer protection application, it is referred to the
temperature at the hottest spot, which may be the inner layer
winding temperature. It can be used for a user-defined spot.
Amb2
Second ambient temperature. It can be used for the second
transformer or second phase transformer of three-phase
transformers.
TopOil2
Second top oil temperature. It can be used for the second
transformer or second phase transformer of three-phase
transformers.
HotSpot2
Second hottest spot. It can be used for the second transformer or
second phase transformer of three-phase transformers.
Amb3
Third ambient temperature. It can be used for the third
transformer or third phase transformer of three-phase
transformers.
TopOil3
Third top oil temperature. It can be used for the third transformer
or third phase transformer of three-phase transformers.
HotSpot3
Third hottest spot. It can be used for the third transformer or
third phase transformer of three-phase transformers.
Wdg1
For motor or generator application, it is referred to the stator
winding 1.
