11. Measure the length of the printed ruler in mm, between the two points illustrated below.
12. The measurement should be 100 mm, if not, do the calculation described below:
Encoder Scale Value ÷ Measured Length Value x 100 = New Encoder Scale Value
13. Select
STOP
at the top of the user interface.
14. Select the print group and select
Stop.
15. Select
Home > Setup > Production line setup > Line movement
.
16. Enter the new encoder scale value in the
Encoder scale (pulses/m)
setting.
17. Check the encoder setup by repeating to .

INTERNAL ENCODER SETUP

If an encoder is not connected to the controller, a simulated encoder signal can be generated by
the controller to set a fixed printing speed.

To setup an internal encoder with a fixed printing speed:
