The display switches to Kuten input mode and “

With the Kanji/Hiragana mode in “Mode 1” and the full-pitch mode in “Mode 2”, you can switch
to Kuten code input mode also by pressing

Kuten Code
You can enter characters, numerals, and symbols listed in the Kuten Code List (see page 440).
