Configuring the Management Browser Parameters
Additional Management Browser (MB) parameters can also be configured either prior to
launching the MB or any time after. The MB parameters screen is shown below:

1. Setting
the
Web Timeout
– For security purposes, this parameter determines the
amount of time a MB screen can be left idle (no programming activity) before
terminating the session. The timeout can be set for 30 minutes, 1, 2 or 3 hours or
Never (not recommended).
2. Enabling
the
Web Refresh LED
– The graphical representation of the Switch Module
and Remote Module will update the Port Status LED (see below) every 10 seconds.
The administrator will receive the most up to date status of the port. If the frequent
updates are found to be a hindrance during programming the LED refreshing can be
disabled (
