Position of the Duplexing Feed
Roller Solenoid
While the steel core of the solenoid is
drawn to the copier, mount the duplexing feed
solenoid so that the distance L2 between the
top edge of the feed roller and the holding tray
is 49 ± 0.5 mm.

Replacing the Transfer Drum
Sheet
The transfer drum frame is
equipped with a slip-stop
mechanism; as such, keep
the following in mind:
• Do not turn the transfer
drum clockwise with
your fingers inside the
opening in the transfer
drum while the transfer
drum is on the transfer
drum frame.
• When the transfer drum
is off the frame, it will
tend to rotate in
clockwise direction. (If
the transfer drum is
rotated clockwise, the
transfer brush and the
attraction brush will
become damaged.
a. Removing the Transfer Drum Sheet
1) Open the front cover; then, slide out the
hopper, and open it 180º.
2) Slide out the transfer drum frame.
3) Detach the transfer drum from the transfer
drum frame.
4) Remove the four TP screws [1], and
remove the transfer drum side scraper [2].
