D. Pickup Motor Drive
Assembly
1. Removing the Cassette Pickup
Drive Assembly/Re-Pickup Drive
Assembly
The cassette pickup drive assembly and
the re-pickup drive assembly may be removed
in the same way. The following cites the re-
pickup drive assembly:
1) Remove the cassette pickup assembly or
the duplexing pickup assembly.
2) Remove the rear cover.
3) Disconnect the connector [1], and remove
the three screws [2]; then, remove the re-
pickup drive assembly [3].

When removing the bot-
tommost cassette pickup
assembly, remove the two
screws [4] and the pickup
driver PCB unit [5] in ad-
vance.

2. Removing the Duplexing Motor
1) Slide out the duplexing unit.
2) Remove the rear cover.
3) Open the CPU PCB.
4) Remove the three screws [1], and
disconnect the two connectors [2]; then,
detach the duplexing motor [3].
