13. Placethe vial in the sample chamber making sure that
the marks are aligned.
14. Press TEST key.
Wait for a reaction period of 2 minutes .
After the reaction period is finished the measurement
starts automatically.
The result is shown in the display in:
mg/l free Chlorine
mg/l combined Chlorine
mg/l total Chlorine
Notes:
1. After use replace the bottle caps securelynoting the colour coding.
2. Store the reagent bottles in a cool, dry place ideally between 6°C and 10°C .

4. In sampleswith high Calcium ion contents* and/or high conductivity* can lead to
turbidity of the sample and therefore incorrect measurements.In this case,the reagent
tablets DPDNo. 1 High Calcium and DPDNo. 3 High Calcium should be used as an
alternative. (Order-No.: seereagents „Chlorine with Tablet“).
* it is not possible to give exact values,becausethe development of turbidity depends
on the nature of the sample.
