Wait for a reaction period of 5 minutes .
After the reaction period is finished the measurement
starts automatically.
The result is shown in the display in mg/l Molybdate /
Molybdenum.
Notes:
1. Filter turbid water samplesusing filter paper and funnel before analysis.
2. Highly buffered water samplesor extreme pH values should be adjusted to a pH of
nearly 7 with 1 mol/l Nitric acid or 1 mol/l Sodium hydroxide.
3. Concentrations above 10 mg/l Cu causestoo high test values if the reaction time of
5 minutes is increased. So it is very important to perform the test procedure as described.
4. Substanceswhich may interfere when present in concentrations at:
Aluminium 50 mg/l
Chromium 1000 mg/l
Iron 50 mg/l
Nickel 50 mg/l
Nitrite all levels
