DRIVING
wheel". At this time, if the driver's hands
remain off the steering wheel, LKS will
disengage.
Turning LKS Off
With LKS turned on, press the LKS button
to turn it off.
WARNING!
•
LKS is not meant for autonomous
driving. It is designed to assist the
drivers instead of replacing them.
Improper use or negligence may
cause traffic accidents and even
serious personal injury. Therefore,
the driver still needs to keep eyes
on the road and traffic conditions.
Always hold the steering wheel with
both hands, be ready to take over the
vehicle at any time, keep the vehicle
within the correct lane, and maintain
awareness in order to prevent
accidents. The driver must always
take responsibility for driving safety.
•
LKS is only applicable for use
on paved roads that are in good
conditions and are well marked.
•
Pay attention to relevant information
shown on the instrument cluster
screen and operate the vehicle as
required.
•
Vehicle speed must be adjusted
depending on the visibility,
weather conditions, road and traffic
conditions, and a proper distance
from the vehicle ahead must be kept.
•
In the event that LKS is caused to
disengage unexpectedly due to sharp
curves, slopes, unclear lane markings,
or excessively wide or narrow lanes,
the lane markings changing on the
instrument cluster will be the only
prompt to inform the driver of the
disengaged LKS.
WARNING!
•
LKS cannot always properly recognise
lane markings, and may sometimes
mistake inferior road surfaces, some
road structures, or other objects for
lane markings. Should this occur, it
should be turned off immediately.
•
If the section of the front windscreen
where the multi-function video
controller is located is dirty, a text
prompt will pop up on the instrument
cluster reading "Smart cameras
not applicable due to environment
limitations". If this section is
damaged, LKS functionality can be
severely affected.
•
Excessive tyre wear or excessively
low tyre pressure can worsen LKS
performance.
•
When the vehicle deviates from the
lane in a curve, a special prompt for
deactivated LKS may not be given.
Drive carefully.
•
When there is a rough transition on
the lane markings, the steering wheel
may be caused to turn considerably.
Drive carefully.
•
When the lane markings are close
to the kerb, the multi-function video
controller may move back and forth
to identify the lane markings and
the kerb, resulting in the steering
wheel turning back and forth. Drive
carefully.
•
LKS may incorrectly recognise or
fail to recognise lane markings on a
rainy or snowy day, or on a muddy
road surface, which will affect vehicle
driving safety. Activating LKS is not
recommended in such cases.
