CAUTION!
•
12V battery (starter Fe battery)
can be used normally only after
communicating with the vehicle.
Make sure to connect and harness it
correctly.
•
When cleaning the 12V battery (starter
Fe battery), make sure to prevent any
liquid from entering.
REMINDER
•
The 12V battery (starter Fe battery)
has a built-in relay, and it is normal
for the relay to pull in when starting
the vehicle.
High-Voltage Battery
Maintenance
The high-voltage battery is the power
source of the vehicle and can be recharged
repeatedly.
•
The high-voltage battery can be charged
through an external power source.
•
When the vehicle is braking or coasting,
the high-voltage battery can also be
charged by means of regenerative
braking.
The high-voltage battery is located under
the vehicle's floor. When driving, make sure
to avoid impact on or flooding of the high-
voltage battery.
As the battery is affected in its
electrochemical characteristics, to protect
it, it is normal for the vehicle to have certain
differences in performance under the
following conditions:
•
The vehicle's regenerative braking
performance is weakened when the
high-voltage battery SOC is high and
enhanced when the SOC is reduced. In
this period, there is a stage of transition
to enhanced regenerative braking
performance.
•
When the high-voltage battery SOC is
high, it will switch to trickle charging
mode, and the terminal charging time
will be lengthened. The estimated
remaining charging time displayed on
the instrument cluster will also have a
deviation.
•
When the high-voltage battery SOC
is low, the vehicle's acceleration
performance is weakened.
•
It is normal for the charging capacity of
the high-voltage battery to be weakened
and for charging time to be prolonged
at high or low temperatures. When this
occurs, it is recommended that high-
power charging equipment is used
for quick charging. Driving in extreme
temperatures may weaken power
performance.
•
At low temperatures, available high-
voltage battery SOC will decrease along
with the decrease in temperature.
Under normal high-voltage battery
conditions, driving range is affected by the
following factors:
•
Driving habits: good driving habits can
prolong driving range.
•
Road conditions: driving in bad road
conditions will shorten driving range.
•
Temperature: driving in low
temperatures will shorten driving range.
•
Usage of electrical equipment: if A/C is
on while driving, driving range will be
shortened.
•
The available SOC will decrease along
with the increase in the vehicle's service
time.
