WARNING!
•
When the overlap between the
vehicle and the vehicle ahead is too
small, ACC will be unable to identify
the vehicle ahead as the target. In this
event, the driver needs to maintain
control of the vehicle.
•
Do not use the ACC system when
driving on roads with poor visibility,
ramps, multiple curves or roads that
are slippery (such as snowy, icy, wet
or waterlogged sections).
CAUTION!
•
Contact a BYD authorised dealer or
service provider to calibrate the radar
sensors if:
»
Radar sensors have been removed;
»
Four wheels have been re-aligned
due to wheel deviation;
»
A collision happens;
»
The ACC system performance
degrades or the instrument cluster
indicates system abnormality.
Lane Keeping System
(LKS)*
LKS detects lane markings ahead through
the multi-function video controller on the
front windscreen. When the vehicle speed
is above 60 km/h, LKS keeps the vehicle
running in the lane by controlling the
steering system, thus relieving the driver
of some duty and improving comfort and
driving experience.
Turning LKS On
Press the LKS button
to turn LKS on.
A prompt reading "Lane assist setting is
successful, the function will be on if the
speed exceeds 60km/h" will be displayed on
the instrument cluster.
REMINDER
•
LKS memorises the on/off status of
this function in the previous driving
cycle by default.
Activating LKS
When LKS detects the lane line, it will
control the steering system to keep the
vehicle within the current lane.
Deactivating LKS
LKS can be deactivated by:
•
Turning the steering wheel, turning on
the turning lights or hazard warning
indicator;
•
Sharply accelerating, decelerating the
vehicle or turning the steering wheel
quickly while driving;
•
If LKS detects that the driver has not
held the steering wheel for 15 seconds
while it is active, a hands-off warning
will be given, and the instrument cluster
will prompt "LKS is off, hold steering
