CAUTION!
»
The front of the vehicle is damaged
or deformed, or the vehicle suffers
an accident that is insufficient to
cause the front seat frontal airbags
to deploy;
» The doors and surrounding areas
are damaged or deformed, or
the vehicle has an accident that
is insufficient to cause the side
airbags and the side curtain
airbags to deploy.
Tyre Pressure Monitoring
System (TPMS)
TPMS collects information about tyre
pressure and temperature in real time
through the sensors installed in the wheels.
When abnormalities are detected, the tyre
pressure fault warning indicator will
light up.
Tyre Pressure Display
If no tyre pressure fault is displayed
on the instrument cluster, the tyre
pressure information can be accessed
on the instrument cluster menu - driving
information. Tyre pressure information
includes:
Tyre pressure : current real-time pressure
of each tyre.
Temperature : current real-time
temperature of each tyre.
Warning Information
When TPMS detects low tyre pressure or
high tyre temperature, the tyre pressure
fault warning indicator on the
instrument cluster will light up and there
will be a text prompt of the relevant fault
information.
Alarms Descriptions
The warning indicator
stays on and the tyre
pressure value is
displayed in yellow.
Low tyre
pressure
The warning indicator
stays on after flashing and
the tyre pressure value is
displayed as an abnormal
signal.
Abnormal
signal
The warning indicator
stays on after flashing
and the tyre pressure
value is displayed as an
abnormal signal. At the
same time, a text prompt
appears reading "Check
the TPMS".
System fault
Low tyre pressure : check the
corresponding tyre for air leakage and refill
it to its correct pressure (refer to Vehicle
Information - Specifications - Wheels
and Tyres Specifications ).
Abnormal signal : contact a BYD
authorised dealer or service provider.
System fault : contact a BYD authorised
dealer or service provider.
When the tyre pressure fault warning
indicator on the instrument cluster is
on, the following can be done:
Cancel alarm : press the right roller on the
steering wheel to cancel the alarm. If the
fault is not resolved, the instrument cluster
will relay the alarm information the next
time the vehicle is started.
