and Panoramic View System will turn on
automatically if the sensor detects an
obstacle within detection range.
Steering Linkage
Activating this feature will cause the
Panoramic View System to turn on
automatically whenever shifting into Drive
and/or turning on the turning light.
WARNING!
•
As the Panoramic View System uses
wide-angle fisheye cameras, objects on
the display screen may appear distorted.
•
The Panoramic View System is for
parking/driving assistance only. Always
check the surroundings when parking/
driving to avoid accidents.
•
Do not use the Panoramic View System
unless the side mirrors are fully extended
and the doors are closed.
•
Drivers must use multiple approaches
to judge the distance between the
vehicle and objects, as objects
displayed on the "Panoramic View"
interface are potentially different from
what they may appear, especially
when the vehicle is moving closer to
objects.
CAUTION!
•
Cameras are installed on the front
grille, under the left/right side
mirrors, and above the rear license
plate. Make sure that the cameras are
unobstructed.
•
Do not have high-pressure water
or steam come into direct contact
with the cameras when washing the
vehicle, as doing so may damage
them.
REMINDER
•
In the event the vehicle is started and
the infotainment system is not yet
fully activated, the "Panoramic View"
display interface will either have a
delayed reaction or the screen will
flash whenever the Panoramic View
start button is pushed or the vehicle
is shifted into Reverse. This is the
normal power-on process for the
cameras, and is no cause for concern.
•
Whenever the vehicle is moving
at a low speed, there may be
misalignment between the image
underneath the vehicle and the
image outside the vehicle due to the
transparent panoramic view being
affected by changes in vehicle speed
or frequent braking.
