Seat Belt Reminder
The vehicle is equipped with a seat belt
sound reminder.
With the vehicle powered on, the seat
belt reminder sounds an alert if the seat
belt of any occupied seat in the vehicle is
unbuckled.
Checking Seat Belt System
Check the seat belt system regularly:
• Always check if the seat belt reminder,
seat belt, buckle, tongue, retractor and
fixing devices are working normally.
• Check if the seat belt system is loose or
damaged, and if there are any objects
that may affect its normal operation.
•
If the seat belt is cracked or worn,
replace it immediately.
•
Please keep the seat belt clean and dry.
Replacing Seat Belt
System Components
If the seat belt system does not work
properly, contact a BYD authorised dealer
or service provider for repair. Do not use
the corresponding seat before the seat belt
is repaired.
Even if there is no obvious damage to
the seat belt in case of a severe accident,
the airbag system should be thoroughly
inspected, and the seat belt should be
replaced together with the seat assembly if
necessary.
WARNING!
• Whenever it is necessary to replace a
seat belt, a certified seat belt must be
used.

Status
With the remote control key inside the
vehicle, press the brake pedal and SRART/
STOP button to power on/off the vehicle.
When the vehicle is ON: The indicator
is displayed on the instrument cluster, all of
the vehicle's electrical equipment is
enabled, and it is ready for driving.
