DRIVING
•
The brake pedal is pressed down when
the vehicle speed is 0 km/h; the brake
pedal is not pressed down when the
vehicle speed is between 0 km/h and
150km/h;
•
No vehicle network communication fault
prompt is displayed on the instrument
cluster;
•
AEB is not activated.
Setting Cruise Speed and Time
Interval
When the ACC is activated, follow the
procedure below to adjust the cruise speed
and the following distance:
Adjusting cruise speed
: push up the left
lever on the steering wheel to increase the
speed by 5 km/h. Pull it down to decrease
the speed by 5 km/h.
When in standby, ACC memorises the last
cruise speed set for the same driving cycle.
Adjusting following distance
: ACC
automatically adjusts the following
distance according to the current cruise
speed. The following distance can also be
decreased by pressing the
button or
increased by pressing the
button on
the steering wheel.
There are 4 following distance levels. At
each level, the following distance is in
direct proportion to the vehicle speed; the
higher the vehicle speed, the greater the
following distance.
Active Acceleration/Deceleration
While ACC Is Activated
When ACC is activated, press the
accelerator pedal to increase the vehicle
speed. If it is necessary to set a new cruise
speed, pull down the left lever on the
steering wheel to set the current speed as
the new cruise speed. If no further action is
taken, the vehicle will resume the previous
cruise speed after the accelerator pedal is
released.
When the vehicle speed is above 150 km/
h or when the accelerator pedal is pressed
down continuously for more than 15
minutes, ACC will automatically disable.
The driver has to re-activate it.
If the brake pedal is pressed when ACC is
activated, the vehicle will decelerate, and
ACC will automatically disable. ACC has
to be re-activated after the brake pedal is
released.
Follow-to-Stop/Start
With ACC, the vehicle can follow the vehicle
ahead to stop while in normal driving
conditions.
•
If the stop time is within 3 seconds, the
vehicle can follow the vehicle ahead to
start automatically.
•
If the stop time is between 3 seconds
and 3 minutes, ACC must be re-activated
by either pressing the accelerator pedal
or pressing the ACC button
.
•
If the stop time is more than 3 minutes,
ACC automatically disables, and EPB
applies automatically.
Deactivating ACC
Deactivating ACC means it is disengaged to
enter standby from the active state.
ACC is deactivated if:
•
The brake pedal is pressed;
