•
Pedestrians are blocked by other
objects;
•
The profile of pedestrians cannot be
distinguished from the background;
•
Pedestrians (e.g. wearing special
clothing or being blocked by objects)
cannot be detected;
•
The vehicle is running on a curve with a
small radius.
WARNING!
•
PEBS does not guarantee collision
avoidance under any circumstance,
and cannot always clearly identify
vehicles and pedestrians under
complex traffic conditions. PEBS may
trigger unnecessary alarms or braking
due to ground manhole covers, iron
plates or road signs.
•
Be sure to drive safely and keep eyes
on the surrounding traffic conditions.
Under no circumstances shall AEB
be used as a substitute for normal
braking operation.
•
AEB can only be activated when
the driving speed is above 4 km/
h. It cannot ensure that AEB will
be triggered accurately under any
working conditions. Please drive
carefully.
•
AEB will not be fully functional if ESC
is turned off or the ESC fault indicator
is on.
•
Do not rely excessively on PEBS, as
doing so may cause accidents and
even serious personal injury. PEBS
is only a tool to assist the driver; it is
the driver's responsibility to maintain
a proper distance from the vehicle
ahead and control vehicle speed.
The driver should be vigilant about
braking and steering whenever
necessary. The driver must always
maintain control of the vehicle and
bear full responsibility for safe driving.
WARNING!
•
Whenever PCW issues a warning,
the driver must apply the brakes
based on current traffic conditions to
decelerate or turn the steering wheel
to avoid obstacles.
•
A warning will be given if the vehicle
ahead has been closely followed for
an extended period. If the vehicle
ahead brakes suddenly, a collision
cannot be avoided.
•
In the event of an emergency alarm,
if the driver has taken corresponding
measures (e.g. turning the steering
wheel, and pressing the accelerator
pedal or brake pedal), PCW will not
continue to trigger AEB.
CAUTION!
•
If the vehicle is running under
special road conditions such as in a
circular parking lot or a tunnel for an
extended period, the radar sensors
may experience temporary detection
malfunctions. Should this occur, the
driver can restore the function by
restarting the vehicle or driving along
a normal road for a certain distance.
•
When the surface of the radar sensors
or multi-function video controller is
dirty or covered by foreign objects,
the instrument cluster screen will
display a corresponding prompt ("Dirt
or foreign objects on the surface can
cause sensor failure"), and foreign
objects on the sensor surface should
be removed as requested. When
sensors malfunction, both PCW and
AEB will be unavailable. After the fault
is resolved, they will return to normal.
•
If AEB is triggered, the brake pedal
will become hard to press, and the
driver may hear a "sizzling" sound due
to considerable hydraulic pressure
needed to push the brake caliper in a
short period of time.
