After driving for a longer period, the battery
temperature will rise naturally, making it
less necessary for heating to take place.
To better improve driving experience, the
battery temperature control system is
mainly used to guarantee low-temperature
charging performance.
In case of emergency, observe the following
precautions:
WARNING!
•
Do not make direct contact with the
high-voltage battery to avoid personal
injury.
•
Contact a BYD authorised dealer or
service provider as soon as possible.
•
If the high-voltage battery is damaged
and there is fluid leakage, avoid
direct contact with such fluids. If the
fluids come into contact with skin
or eyes, wash the affected area with
plenty of water and seek medical help
immediately.
•
If the vehicle catches fire, extinguish
the fire with plenty of water and do
not use water-based extinguishers.
CAUTION!
•
To ensure the high-voltage battery
safety, the vehicle must be kept
away from inflammables, explosives,
heat sources and any dangerous
chemicals when parked.
•
The vehicle must be parked away
from heat sources, and avoid long
exposure to sunlight, so as to extend
high-voltage battery service life.
•
Users are forbidden to refill battery
coolant by themselves. This should
be done by BYD authorised dealers or
service providers only.
Other Maintenance
Tyre Maintenance
To ensure safety, tyre type and size must
follow vehicle specifications. Tyre treads
and pressure must always be kept in check.
Tyre Pressure
Tyre pressure values for applicable vehicles
can be found on the left B pillar sticker.
The instrument cluster can be used to
check whether the current tyre pressure
values are normal. Please refer to
Driving-
Safety Assist-Tyre Pressure Monitoring
.
WARNING!
•
Insufficient tyre pressure will
aggravate its deflection. Overheating
may cause tyres to burst. Excessively
high or low tyre pressure will
accelerate tyre wear, reduce vehicle
stability, and increase the risk of traffic
accidents.
REMINDER
•
When checking tyre pressure, the
tyre must not be warm. Tyre pressure
will rise along with the temperature,
making it slightly above the specified
pressure. In this case, it is not
necessary to depressurise.
•
Balance passenger and luggage
weight, avoid ramps or slopes, and
adjust the pressure according to
vehicle load.
•
Make sure to replace the valve cap
after checking tyre pressure.
