on. When the
function is enabled, the BSD indicator
on the instrument cluster will light up.
REMINDER
•
BSD memorises the on/off status of
this function in the previous driving
cycle by default.
Blind Spot Detection (BSD)
When the radar sensors detect that there is
a vehicle in the blind spot of a side mirror
when the vehicle is moving at a speed
above 30 km/h, the alarm indicator on the
corresponding side mirror will light up. If
the turning light on the same side is turned
on at this time, the warning indicator on
the corresponding side mirror will flash,
alerting the driver of possible danger if they
insist on changing lanes.
Side Assist
When the radar sensors detect that there
is a vehicle quickly approaching from the
adjacent lane while the vehicle is moving
at a speed of above 30 km/h, the alarm
indicator on the corresponding side mirror
will light up. If the turning light on the same
side is turned on at this time, the warning
indicator on the corresponding side mirror
will flash, alerting the driver of possible
danger if they insist on changing lanes.
Rear Crossing Traffic Alert (RCTA)
RCTA uses radar sensors to detect moving
vehicles on the left and right sides when
the vehicle is reversing, alerting the driver
of a risk of collision.
If RCTA determines that a collision is about
to take place with vehicles approaching
from the left and right side while reversing,
the warning indicator on the corresponding
side mirror will flash to alert the driver
of possible danger should they continue
reversing and remind them to drive
carefully.
Rear Collision Warning (RCW)
When the radar sensors detect that a
vehicle is approaching quickly from behind
and there is a risk of collision while the
vehicle runs at a speed above 5 km/h, the
turn signal on the instrument cluster and
the alarm lights on both side mirrors will
light up and flash to remind the driver to
drive carefully.
Door Opening Warning (DOW)
When the door is about to be opened while
the vehicle is in Park, DOW uses the rear
radar sensors to identify short-range targets
behind and to the side of the vehicle,
and will issue an alarm through the DOW
indicator on the side mirrors to prevent
possible accidents.
