DRIVING
WARNING!
•
Do not slam on or quickly release
the accelerator pedal. Do not brake
suddenly or turn the steering wheel
sharply. To control vehicle speed, first
release the accelerator pedal slowly
and then gently press the brake pedal.
•
Sudden braking, acceleration, and
sharp turning on slippery roads are
likely to cause the vehicle aquaplane
and lose control. Make sure to drive
carefully.
•
When it rains, clean the side mirrors
or turn on their heaters to prevent
blind spots.
•
Turn on the fog lights and low beam.
•
If heavy rain or thunderstorms prevent
the vehicle from moving forward,
park safely at a place where there is
no risk of flooding. Turn on the hazard
warning lights.
CAUTION!
•
After the rain, the vehicle should
be cleaned as quickly as possible
to prevent acidic rain water from
corroding the paint.
•
Before driving over waterlogged
road stretches, their depth must
be ascertained. The depth of any
waterlogged stretch must not exceed
the lower edge of the vehicle body.
•
After driving off a waterlogged area,
gently press the brake pedal to check
if the brakes are functioning normally.
When the brake pads are wet,
braking will suffer a clear decrease in
performance.
Driving in Hot Weather
WARNING!
•
Do not wear slippers or high heels to
drive. In summer, tyre pressure will
rise with temperature, so tyres are
more prone to bursting.
•
When parking, check for any
dangerous or flammable materials
around the vehicle.
•
Avoid exposing the vehicle to intense
sunlight during the hot season, and
do not carry flammable or explosive
substances such as lighters, paper
scraps, cloth toys, perfumes, etc. in
the vehicle.
Driving in Cold Weather
WARNING!
•
In the cold season, make sure to
carefully check the vehicle safety
devices such as steering wheel,
brakes, lighting, dashboard, horn,
wipers, etc. before driving.
•
Roads are slippery after snowfall.
Maintain a stable speed and do not
make any quick movements like
sudden acceleration, braking, and
steering. Accelerate steadily and keep
the vehicle at medium to low speeds.
•
Start and accelerate gently to prevent
skidding and sideslips.
•
Check the condition of the 12V battery
(starter Fe battery) frequently and
keep it fully charged.
•
Have some spare tools ready for use in
case of emergency. These can include:
anti-skid chains, windscreen scrapers,
sand bags, and emergency flashers.
