In the BlackBerry Administration Service, on the
Servers and components
menu, expand
BlackBerry solution
topology > BlackBerry Domain > Component view
.
2.
Click
MDS Connection Service
.
3.
On the
HTTP
tab, click
Edit component
.
4.
In the
Protocol service information
section, in the
Authentication support enabled
drop-down list, click
Yes
.
5.
In the
Name
section, type a global name, and type the web address of the intranet site in the
Service URL
section.
6.
In the
Settings
section, type a user name and password.
7.
Click
Save all
.

Specify the maximum amount of data that a
BlackBerry MDS Connection Service can send to
BlackBerry devices
1.
In the BlackBerry Administration Service, on the
Servers and components
menu, expand

topology > BlackBerry Domain > Component view > MDS Connection Service
.

Click the instance that you want to change.
3.
Click
Edit instance
.
4.
On the
General
tab, in the
Flow control
section, in the
Maximum data amount permitted per connection
field, type a
number, in KB.
