3 When prompted, insert the Test Plate into the plate carrier, and press
the
READ
key to begin the test.
The Calibration Plate Analysis Report ( Figure 19 ) will be sent to a
printer when the test is run.
To run the Absorbance Plate Test in Gen5™ :
1 Select System|Diagnostics|Test Plates|Run . Click the Help button
for guidance.
To run the Absorbance Plate Test in KC4™:
1 Select System|Diagnostics|Run Universal Plate Test . Click the
Help button for guidance.
To run the Absorbance Plate Test in KCjunior™:
1
Select
Utilities|Diagnostics|Universal Plate Test
.
2 Select the Universal Plate ID (Wavelength) . Click the Help button
for guidance.
Test Failures
If any of the test parameters report as "FAIL," confirm that the standard values on
the test plate Standards Certificate match the values on the printout. If not, correct
and retest. If the test still fails, contact BioTek's Technical Assistance Center (refer
to
Chapter 1 for contact information). Please have a copy of the test and the
reader’s serial number available when you call.
