Begin with the program at home position:
“SPECTRUM 100, IDLE”. Press the three-
key simultaneous entry for management rou-
tines (“NEW”+”ENTER”+”STATUS”)

The next prompt will ask you to choose
the required management activity:
“SCROLL” to highlight “SET-UP”, then press
“ENTER”.

The next prompt will ask you to select
a type of set-up activity: “SCROLL” to
highlight “SYSTEM CONFIGURATION”, then
press “ENTER”.

The display will then display “SAVE/
READ PARAMETERS” on the fi rst line
and selection choices on line 2. To save con-
sole parameters, choose “SAVE”; to recall
saved parameters into the memory of a
new or replacement console, select “READ”.
Press “ENTER” when completed.

The display will briefl y show the mes-
sage “WRITING TO SC00” or “READ-
ING SC00”.

The next prompt will ask you to select a
type of set-up activity: “SCROLL” to high-
light “EXIT”, then press “ENTER”.

The next prompt will ask you to choose
the required management activity:
“SCROLL” to highlight “EXIT”, then press
“ENTER”.

Next, the system will display “SPEC-
TRUM 100 IDLE”. The console is now
ready for other operations.
READ/WRITE SUCCESSFUL

If no errors occur during the process,
the display will then pause and report
the message “READ/WRITE SUCCESSFUL”.
Press “ENTER” to continue.
