: New Dispense Job

The prompt will ask for a job number.
Enter a job number, or the program
will automatically use the most recent job
number plus 1.
In the displayed example,
using automatic numbering, the prior job was
12344.
Press “ENTER” to continue.

The prompt will then display “IS JOB
#12345 OK ?”. Review carefully.
If there
are entry errors, you may text-edit this screen
to make corrections before proceeding. Use
the scroll-arrow keys to select text entries
for editing.
Then press “ENTER” to authorize
the batch job.

With the display showing “SPECTRUM
100 IDLE”, Press “NEW” to begin key
entries for a new dispense job.

The prompt will ask for a station number.
Enter the station number where the new
fl uid batch is to be dispensed, then press
“ENTER” to continue.
During these steps, if you make an entry
mistake, press “NEW” to erase the job entry
and re-initiate the new job request.

The prompt will ask for a fl uid type.
Select the fl uid choice by pressing one
of the four fl uid selector keys on the con-
sole. After selection, the fl uid type (such as
“5W20”) will appear on line 2.
You can still
edit the selection by pressing another fl uid
key.
Or press “ENTER” to continue.

The prompt will ask for a fl uid batch
amount. Enter the desired quantity by
editing the value on line 2, scrolling right
or left to edit the characters. Then press
“ENTER” to continue.

At any time, you may enter up to 4
additional batch jobs into queue for the
selected fl uid by repeating this procedure,
step by step. Begin by pressing “NEW”; or
to conclude the new-entry process, press
“ENTER”.
If no jobs are in queue, the display
will show the newly entered job as active and
will display the actual dispense count while
the technician works in the service bay.

When the current fl uid batch is fully
dispensed, the display will momentarily
show a “FLUID IDLE” message, then return
to the “SPECTRUM 100
