This type of module can be used to add additional RJ45

or
TCM
ports to an IP Office system (DS only on IP500
control units). However, each module only supports DS ports or TCM ports, a module cannot support a mix of ports. The
type of ports supported by a module is set through the IP Office system configuration. See

The modules are available in 16 and 30 port variants, referred to as the IP500 DS16B and IP500 DS30B respectively.

For IP Office Release 8.0 and IP Office Release 8.1 systems, these modules only support DS ports.

These modules only support the following DS phones: 1400 Series, 2400 Series, 3800 Series, 5400 Series and
9500 Series.

Power Supply
The module is supplied with a Earthed 3-Pin, 60W external power supply module. The PSU has an
integral power cord for connection to the module's DC I/P socket. A locale specific

for the external PSU is required but is not supplied with the module.
Mounting
The module is designed as a free-standing module that can be stacked on or under other IP Office
modules. The module can be wall or rack mounted using the
IPO IP500 RACK MNTG KIT V3
.
