Permeate tank is empty, causing lack of supply water to the pump.
•
Check Ro control for alarm. Follow alarm description.
•
Reset alarm and wait to reset the PM2 until water level is above low
level sensor.
•
Vent the air from the pump inlet.
•
Reset PM2.
•
Pressure should raise up to 3-3,5 bar.

Water output volume is too high or lower than the pump can
handle.
1. If water flow is less than 1 l/min for too long, the CM3-4 pump
will start and stop too often, and the pump motor internal
protection switch the pump off.
2. The output demand is higher than the RO system can produce
permeate water, so the pump will empty the tank.
1. If pump doesn’t start when reset, or if pump starts and stop in
interval is less than 1 min. add a hydrophore after the pump.
2. Follow guide for “water tank empty”.
Permeate µS level to high

Non return valve hygienic rinse is leaking. This makes the raw
inlet water bypass the membrane during operation, so that the
permeate water from tank is mixed with inlet water.
•
Take a water sample from the permeate hose connected to the top
of water tank.
•
Compare the µS level with the water from test valve.
•
If water from test valve is much higher, replace non return valve.

Drain is blocked or adjusted wrong.
•
Re-adjust drain volume and flush membrane by making 1-2
productions of water.
•
Check the µS level again.

Inlet water pressure is too low. If the inlet pressure gets below
recommended minimum, the filtration rejection % gets lower, and
you will see the µS output increases.
•
Compare the pressure from last service with the current pressure.
•
Check supply water line for blockade or failure if the pressure has
dropped.
- Increase or boost the inlet pressure.

Membrane is worn out or defected.
•
Check supply water quality and that prefiltration components works
as they should.
- Repair prefiltration if needed. Supply water, mechanical filter,
softener, carbon filter etc.
- Replace membrane.
The system does not produce enough water

•
Check inlet pressure and compare with last service.

Prefiltration line is blocked.
•
Check prefiltration line, and supply water quality. Supply water,
mechanical filter, softener, carbon filter etc.

Drain is blocked or adjusted wrong.

Solenoid valve hygienic rinse is defect, unable to close.
•
Close the output, so there is no demand of permeate water.
•
If the pump is still running after 2min. replace hygienic valve.

Membrane is worn out or defected.
•
Replace the membrane.
