Before you start:
•
Take the 10 mm hose from RO permeate and disconnect it at the tank and put it to the drain.
•
Slowly turn on water supply to avoid pressure boost.
Power on:
•
Connect power supply.
•
System will startup and open water inlet, permeate production starts.
•
Let the system run in this position until all air is out of the membrane.
Adjust drain %:
•
Measure and note the permeate water flow l/h.
•
Measure and note the drain water flow l/h.
•
Adjust the 1/4” drain needle valve until the required drain flow is reached:
min. 30 % with softener.
- Use formula ”with softener” to calculate.
min. 50 % without softener.
- Use formula ”without softener” to calculate.
•
Lock the valve with the designated nut.
•
Disconnect power supply to stop the water flow.
•
Reconnect the 10 mm permate hoses to the tank.
•
Reconnect power supply.
Produce tank with
permeate water:
•
Produce one tank of permeate water and drain it off.
•
Produce one more tank.
Terminate air in the
booster supply pump:
•
Take the 3/4” hose going to the consumer and put it to drain.
•
Open the valve on the tank, PM2 default starts in alarm - press reset.
•
Wait until the 3/4” hose has a clean water flow without air. The pump should now be
producing water pressure.
•
Close the valve on the tank.
•
Reconnect the consumer hose.
•
Open the valve on the tank again.
Water sample:
•
Take a water sample from the designated tab, let the water run for 1 min. before taking the
sample.
•
Messure µS/cm.
•
Normal limit 5-30 µS/cm, in clean water areas µS/cm can drop to 0.
•
This can have a negative effect on some processes.
End with:
•
Check that the water inlet pressure during RO production is min. 3 bar .
•
Check for leaks.
•
Fill out AirtecCare checklist.
Terminate air in the
booster supply pump:
•
Take the 3/4” hose going to the consumer and put it to drain.
•
Turn on fuse F2 6A, PM2 default starts in alarm - press reset.
•
Wait until the 3/4” hose has a clean water flow without air, the pump should now be producing
water pressure.
•
Turn off fuse F2.
•
Reconnect the consumer hose.
•
Turn on fuse F2.
Water sample:
•
Take a water sample from the designated tab, let the water run for 1 min. before taking the
sample
•
Messure µS/cm.
•
Normal limit 5-30 µS/cm, in clean water areas µS/cm can drop to 0.
•
