Alarm: Temp. Motor
Fault
code: Cause
Solution
-ALARM-
Temp. Motor
301
Membrane pressure set to high, motor is overloaded.
•
Start a permeate production, and reduce the membrane pressure to
below maximum operation pressure. Start by setting the pressure, 10
bar default, increase the pressure, but never above max. 15 bar. until
you have the needed production volume.
•
Measure supply voltage to motor in the controlbox.
•
Measure amps during production as close to stop pressure as you can.
See pressure value in display, and max. amps on motor dataplate.
302
Pump is worn out, and causing unnormal high load for the motor to
handle. Motor thermal protection will switch off, until the motor is
cooled down again.
•
Power down the system.
•
Dissemble the motor pump connection, and check if you can turn
the pump smooth and easy by hand.
- Check 303 before replacing defect pump.
- If 303 is ok, replace pump.
303
Motor is overloaded or defect.
•
Disconnect power to the system.
•
Remove flange and coupling from motor.
•
Check if you can turn the motor shaft easy by hand. If not replace motor.
•
Disconnect the two capacitors, one at the time, and measure that
the µF is the same as the label value. Replace if broken.
•
Check all wiring is prober and no loose connection.
•
If motor and motor parts are ok, replace the pump.
Alarm: Fault K1 Start/Stop
Fault
code: Cause
Solution
-ALARM-
Fault K1 Start
Fault K1 Stop
401.1
Fault K1 Start. The pump contactor is not responding to the start
signal and the pump will not start.
•
Check supply voltage to contactor coil terminals.
- If voltage is ok, replace contactor.
- If no voltage check code 402 and 403.
401.2
Fault K1 Stop. The pump contactor is welded and do not disconnect
when production should stop.
•
Turn off fuse F2. If the pump continue to run the contactor is defect.
- Replace contactor.
- Start up the system, and inspect for leakage and damage, do to
over pressure.
402
Loose connection in wiring K1 start.
•
Check wiring from PLC output to contactor coil, and the feedback
signal from contactor to PLC.
403
PLC output defect.
•
if pump status in display is “ pump started “ and supply power to plc
contactor is ok, but no output signal:
- Replace PLC, contact Airtec with system serial no and customer
name to ensure we supply you with the right PLC/software.
