3.5 To Operate the Machine
3.5.1 Check Before You Operate the Machine
Procedure
1.
Make sure that the procedures in the chapter First use are done.
2.
Make sure that the maintenance to prevent failure is done.
3.
Make sure that all covers are not open and locked.
4.
Make sure that the tailgate valve and the pick-up valve are open.
5.
Make sure that the parts of the machine are in a good condition. Replace or repair damaged parts.
6.
Inflate the tyres of the transport wheels to the correct pressure.
7.
Make sure that the oil in the reservoir of the chain lubrication system is at the correct level.
8.
Drain the reservoir of the pneumatic brake system. (Only for pneumatic brakes).
9.
Make sure that there is no damage to the Power Take-Off (PTO) shaft and telescopes smoothly.
10.
Make sure that there is no damage to the hydraulic hoses and the fluid level does not decrease.

3.5.2 Start Baling and Wrapping
Before starting the procedure
You can start baling when you prepare the machine fully, refer to Chapters:
• First use
• Prepare the Machine to Bale.
Procedure
1.
On the Home page on the E-Link PRO, push the button
.
2.
Engage the Power Take-Off (PTO) shaft and set the speed to that shown on the gearbox.
3.
Set the double acting valve in the tractor to "float".
4.
Drive quickly at the correct speed (hand throttle) refer to the drive instructions.
5.
When the bale size indicator shows that the bale is at the correct size, you must stop the tractor.
6.
Wait until the bale is tied.
a) If you engage automatic bale tying, tying starts automatically
b) If you engage manual bale tying, you must push the button
to start the tying.
7.
Eject the bale.
After finishing the procedure
You can always stop the tractor and start the tying procedure before the bale is at the correct dimension. It
is only necessary to push the button
. This is good when almost all bales on the field are made and the
last bales dimensions are too large or too small.
