3.3 Transport Position and Driving
Before starting the procedure
WARNING:
For machines with a pneumatic brake: make sure that you set the lever on the variable
load valve to the full brake effect.
WARNING:
Do not operate the machine on a road with a bale in the chamber.
WARNING: Risk of Impact.
A person can be seriously injured when the parts of the machine are moved.
Make sure no person is in the danger zone, parts of the machine will move during this
task.
CAUTION:
Always obey your local road traffic regulations and the speed
limits.
Before you operate the machine on a road, set the machine to the transport position.
Procedure
1.
Make sure that the machine and the tractor have the correct connection.
2.
Make sure that there is no person in the danger zone.
3.
When connected to a bale tipper or bale mat, first put it in the transport position.
4.
Set the machine to the transport position.
a) If necessary, remove the bale from the bale chamber. Open the tailgate with the controller
b) The bale transfer is in the receive position
c) Close the tailgate with the controller
d) Make sure that you lift the pick-up to the top position with the double acting valve
e) There is no bale on the wrapper
f) The wrapping table and ring are in the safe position
g) Close the valve of the double acting hydraulic hose.
5.
If necessary set these parts manually in the correct position on the page “Adv. Menu > Manual
Control”.
6.
Go to the page “Tasks > Transport Position”.
7.
Push the button to put all wrapper parts in the transport position.
8.
Stop the tractor engine and remove the key.
