3.2 Connect the Machine to the Tractor
Before starting the procedure
WARNING: Damage.
Make sure that the maximum vertical load that the machine transfers to the tractor is less
than the permitted vertical load on the coupling point.
WARNING: Damage.
Make sure that the horizontal load on the drawbar and tractor hitch (D-value) is below 46
kN.
CAUTION:
Make sure that there are no persons near the machine when you connect it to the tractor.
Safely attach the machine to the tractor before you lift the support foot.
Do not go into the area between the tractor and the machine (see Danger Zones) unless
you stop the tractor engine and you lock the machine to prevent movement.
Procedure
1.
Move the tractor in reverse gear to the machine drawbar. Align the tractor with the machine.
2.
Stop the engine of the tractor.
3.
Connect the drawbar to the tractor.
4.
Remove the support foot.
5.
Connect the Power Take-Off (PTO) shaft and fully engage the locks.
6.
Install the retaining chains. This will stop movement of the protective tubes on the drive shaft.
7.
Connect the hydraulics.
a) Connect the valve for return flow (size 4, white) and pressure (size 3, yellow) to the tractor
b) Connect the double acting valves (red) to the tractor
c) Connect the load sensing valve (blue) to the tractor.
8.
Connect the electrical power supply cable of the machine to the correct socket on the tractor.
9.
Install the emergency stop button in the tractor in a position that has easy access for the driver.
10.
Connect the lighting cable to the correct socket on the tractor.
11.
Make sure that all the lights on the machine operate correctly.
12.
Connect the E-Link Pro cable between the machine and the tractor.
