4.9 Replace the Hydraulic Oil Filter

Before starting the procedure

Each year, or when the indicator is red, replace the hydraulic filter.

Procedure
1.

Make sure that the machine is "OFF" refer to

the shutdown procedure for maintenance.

Release the pressure in the hydraulic

system.

Put a container directly below the hydraulic

filter (1) to collect hydraulic oil.

Clean the area around the hydraulic filter to

stop dirt from entering the hydraulic system

during replacement.

Remove the filter housing (1), cover the

opening and stop dirt from entering the

system.

Install a new filter element in the housing.

Tighten the housing with the bolt (3). If a

large quantity of oil was spilled, you must

examine the hydraulic oil level.
