Set the wrapping ring safeguard 1 (1), to stop the wrapping ring from lowering.

Set the wrapping ring safeguard 2 (2), to stop the wrapping ring from turning.

Make sure that the work lights are “Off”.

Fold up and lock the ladder of the maintenance platform.
18.
Remove harvest remains and clods of dirt which are in contact with the machine and make sure that
the lighting set and reflectors are clean.
19.
Clean the area near the brake system, near the wheel rims and the brake drums.
20.
Make sure that the brake operates before
driving:
a) For machines with an active hydraulic
brake: make sure that you connect the
hydraulic brake hose
b) For machines with a pneumatic brake:
make sure that you set the lever on the
variable load valve (2) to the full brake
effect
c) Before you continue make sure that the
pressure in the reservoir of the pneumatic
brake is correct.
21.
Remove the wheel chocks from the wheels
on the machine.
22.
Release the parking brake.
