Read the manufacturers data sheet for your pre-stretch adjustment.
• 55% pre-stretch, for films with a lower quality, this adjustment causes increased film use
• 70% pre-stretch, this is the standard adjustment
• 90% pre-stretch, for films with a higher quality, this adjustment causes decreased film use.
To set the correct pre-stretch rate, change the gear wheels on the stretch rollers.
Only install or change the gears when there is no film installed.

Procedure
1.
Remove the pin from the gear wheel holder
(1).
2.
Select the correct gear wheels (see table
above).

Remove the bolts from the gear wheels (1)
and (2).
4.
Remove the gear wheels (1) and (2) from the
top of the film rollers.
5.
Install the correct gear wheels, the smaller
wheel on (1) and the larger one on (2).
6.
Install the bolts on the gear wheels.
7.
Install the gear wheels removed from the
film rollers on to the gear wheel holder.
8.
Install the pin on to the gear wheel holder.

Before starting the procedure
Adjust the top of the film roll holder to the dimension of the film rolls (500 mm or 750 mm).
