Heat Transfer Fluid

—The heat transfer fluid supplied with the instru-

ment should be installed as described in section G. Spare supplies of 

heat transfer fluid may be stored at room temperature.

Sample Tubes

—Glass tubes may be cleaned in a standard dishwash-

er, observing the usual precautions against breakage of light-weight 

glass items. The standard plastic cassettes, however, may distort under 

extended exposure to high heat. 

Sample Tube Cassettes

—Do not expose the sample cassettes to tem-

peratures above 180°F (82°C).
