Lubrication, balancing device bearing (Design 1)
The procedure below details how to lubricate the spherical roller bearing.
Note Action
DANGER
Turn off all:
• electric power supply to the robot
• hydraulic pressure supply to the robot
Before entering the robot working area.

M6 Replace the securing screw at the link ear
with a lubrication nipple. 2
Art. no. and amount is specified in Re-
quired equipment on page 195 !
Lubricate the spherical roller bearing through
the lubrication nipple in the ear with
grease.
Fill until excessive grease is forced out
between the shaft and the sealing spacer.

The balancing device must be mounted
on the robot when lubricating the
bearing!
M6 x 10, washer: D=6,4/12 T=1,6 Remove the lubrication nipple and refit the
securing screw and washer. 4
Tightening torque: 6 Nm.

Check for leakage - Design 1 on

Clean the area from any excessive grease
and check the area once again after operation
of the robot, in order to make sure there is
no incorrect leakage from the o-rings. 5

The procedure below details how to lubricate the spherical roller bearing.

Turn off all:
• electric power supply to the robot
• hydraulic pressure supply to the robot
Before entering the robot working area.

M6 Replace the upper securing screw at the link
ear with a lubrication nipple. 2
M6 Remove the lower securing screw 3
Art. no. and amount is specified in Re-
quired equipment on page 195 !
Lubricate the spherical roller bearing through
the lubrication nipple in the ear with
grease.
Fill until excessive grease is forced out
through the hole of the lower securing screw.

The balancing device must be mounted
on the robot when lubricating the
