Before changing oil, always check the oil level. Always analyze the water content in the exchanged
oil, according to
Analyzing the water content in gearbox oil on page 193 , to determine the condition
of each gearbox.
If the water content in oil is more than 3%, analyze the new oil within 2 months. Repeatedly high
water content in oil indicates wear of radial sealing in the gearbox.
