42.7.5 FTP Restrictions
FTP w ill not w or k w hen:
• FTP ser vice is disabled in t he Se r v ice Acce ss Con t r ol scr een.
• The I P addr ess( es) in t he Re m ot e M a n a ge m e n t scr een does not m at ch t he client I P addr ess. I f
it does not m at ch, t he Sw it ch w ill disconnect t he FTP session im m ediat ely.
General Commands for GUI-based FTP Clients

Host Address Ent er t he addr ess of t he host ser ver.
Login Ty pe Anony m ous.
This is w hen a user I .D. and passw or d is aut om at ically supplied t o t he ser ver for
anony m ous access. Anony m ous logins w ill w or k only if your I SP or serv ice
adm inist rat or has enabled t his opt ion.
