Weight ed Round Robin Scheduling ( WRR)  uses t he sam e algor it hm  as r ound r obin scheduling, but
ser vices queues based on t heir  pr ior it y and queue w eight  ( t he num ber  you configur e in t he queue
W e igh t  field)  rat her  t han a fixed am ount  of bandw idt h. WRR is act ivat ed only when a por t  has
m ore t raffic t han it  can handle. Queues w it h lar ger  w eight s get  m or e ser vice t han queues w it h
sm aller  w eight s. This queuing m echanism  is highly efficient  in t hat  it  divides any available
bandw idt h acr oss t he different  t raffic queues and r et ur ns t o queues t hat  have not  yet  em pt ied.
