Select Ye s t o enable DHCP snooping on t he VLAN. You st ill have t o enable DHCP
snooping on t he Sw it ch and specify t r ust ed por t s.

Note: If DHCP is enabled and there are no trusted ports, DHCP requests will not succeed.

Opt ion 82 Pr ofile

Select  a pr e- defined DHCP opt ion 82 profile t hat  t he Swit ch applies t o all por t s in t he
specified VLAN( s) . The Sw it ch adds t he infor m at ion ( such as slot  num ber, por t  num ber,
VLAN I D and/ or  syst em  nam e)  specified in t he pr ofile t o DHCP r equest s t hat  it
br oadcast s t o t he DHCP VLAN, if specified, or  VLAN. You can specify  t he DHCP VLAN in
t he D H CP Sn oopin g  Con figu r e  scr een ( see

Sect ion 26.6 on page 230

) .

Apply

Click Apply t o save your  changes t o t he Sw it ch’s r un- t im e m em or y. The Sw it ch loses
t hese changes if it  is t ur ned off or  loses pow er, so use t he Sa ve  link  on t he t op
nav igat ion panel t o save your  changes t o t he non- volat ile m em or y w hen you ar e done
configuring.
