page image—A binary (black and white) or color representation
of a page stored in computer memory, or on disk in an image file.
Pagis Editor—One of a suite of programs in Pagis Pro, enabling
you to view, refine, annotate, picture edit, and otherwise
manipulate scanned XIF documents (and other image file
formats).
Pagis Folder—A standard Windows folder that has been
enhanced with Pagis tools and views. See also Pagis Inbox.
Pagis Inbox—An icon that sits on the Windows desktop, and
represents the control center for Pagis Pro operation. The Pagis
Inbox is an enhanced Windows folder that has added menus and
commands, as well as an integrated Pagis ToolBar and Pagis
SendTo Bar. It also has an enhanced view area that supports
Thumbnail view.
Pagis Index—The default search index for Pagis Pro. A search
index stores information about the location, contents, author,
title, and key words assigned to a group of documents.
Pagis Index Manager— One of a suite of programs in Pagis
Pro, enabling you to create and configure Pagis indexes on your
system and removable media. The Index Manager shows the date
and time each index was last updated, the update schedule,
which directories and file types are included, and which are
excluded. You can set up an automatic index update schedule or
update your indexes manually.
Pagis Search Tool—One of a suite of programs in Pagis Pro,
enabling you to perform full-text search and retrieval of scanned
and electronic documents.
Pagis SendTo Bar—In Pagis Pro, a program on your Windows
desktop and in the Pagis Inbox that holds shortcut icons to
programs on your computer. You can drag a file to a shortcut, or
simply double-click the shortcut icon, to launch the program and
import the file.
