5. Define the directories that are to be included in the index.
•
Click the Directories button. This displays the Select
Directories and Files dialog box (Figure 4–64).
•
Click the checkbox of the drive(s) to be indexed.
•
If you want to index only specific folders on a drive, click the
plus (+) sign next to the drive name to view the list of folders.
By default, all folders are selected on the selected drive.
Uncheck the folders not to be included in the index.
•
When you are done selecting directories and files, click OK.
6. Define the file types to be included in the index.
•
In the Index Information dialog box, click the Extensions
button. This displays the Extensions dialog box (Figure 4–65).
All extensions of the file types that Pagis Pro can index are
shown and checked on by default. Pagis Pro uses TextBridge
OCR to perform full text indexing on
.XIF
,
.TIF
,
.BMP
,
.PCX
,
.DCX
,
.ALA
(Alacrity TIFF),
.AWD
(Microsoft Exchange
Fax), and
.FXS
,
.FXR
,
.FXD
, and
.FXM
(WinFax fax formats).
Click OK
when done
