Scan photos of possessions for insurance purposes
Many insurance companies recommend that you take
photographs of the possessions in your home in case they are
damaged or stolen.
Using Pagis Pro and your scanner (or digital camera), you can
import and manage these photographs in one or more XIF files.
With the Pagis Editor, you can make annotations on each
photograph (for example, date of purchase, estimated value, and
so on).
Because of the small file size of XIF, you can likely store the
photographs in one XIF document that would fit on a floppy
diskette.
Then, you can make copies of the diskette, send one to your
insurance agent, keep one at work, and one stored in a safe spot
in your home.
