Select command
The Select command is the default mouse pointer mode. It is
indicated by a northwest-pointing arrow:
In Select mode, you can click on an image segment in the
displayed page to select it. When an image segment is selected,
you can cut, copy, or picture edit it, or drag and drop it to another
application.
In this mode, you can also draw a marquee (dashed rectangle)
around a region on the page to select it. With a region selected,
you can cut, copy, copy as text, or OCR it, or drag and drop it to
another application.
Pan command
The Pan command places the mouse pointer in Pan mode, which
is indicated by an opened hand icon:
The Pan command is useful when you have zoomed in very
closely on the displayed document, and you want to move the
image within the view area.
In Pan mode, click and hold in the page view area and drag the
mouse in any direction to pan the image.
Zoom command
The Zoom command places the mouse pointer in Zoom mode,
which is indicated by a magnifying glass symbol:
