Index toolbar
The toolbar on the Index Manager provides access to the same
commands that are in the Index menu. Refer to previous
subsections for complete information about these commands.
Figure 4–63 provides summary descriptions of the Index toolbar.

Now that you have explored indexing tools, the next several
subsections provide step-by-step procedures to use these tools.
Creating and defining an index
To create and define an index, use the following step-by-step
procedure:
1. Start the Index Manager.
The Index Manager main window (refer to Figure 4–59) is
displayed.
2. From the Index menu or Index toolbar, select the Create
command.
The Index Information dialog box (refer to Figure 4–60) is
displayed.
