13 - Union

❑ To loosen and tighten union nut, counterhold with a wrench on connection.
❑ Before installing high-pressure pipe, first tighten connection to 40 Nm.

14 - Fuel distributor

❑ the lower part of the intake manifold must be removed to remove the fuel rail
❑ For cylinders 1, 3 and 5
❑ If the fuel rail is removed, the injector O-ring, support washer, spring element and combustion chamber

seal must always be renewed

❑ Tighten evenly from inside to outside.

15 - Union

❑ To loosen and tighten union nut, counterhold with a wrench on connection.
❑ Before installing high-pressure pipe, first tighten connection to 40 Nm.

16 - Connecting pipe

❑ 28 Nm
❑ Make sure that fuel pipe does not touch other components!
❑ Install free of tension.
❑ To install, first tighten union nuts hand tight.
❑ To loosen and tighten the union nut, counterhold with a wrench at high-pressure pump connection.
❑ Before installing: first tighten connection at high-pressure pump to 40 Nm.

17 - Union

❑ To loosen and tighten union nut, counterhold with a wrench on connection.
❑ Before installing high-pressure pipe, first tighten connection to 40 Nm.

18 - Fuel distributor

❑ For cylinders 2, 4 and 6
❑ If the fuel rail is removed, the injector O-ring, support washer, spring element and combustion chamber

seal must always be renewed

❑ Tighten evenly from inside to outside.
❑ Removing and installing

19 - Fuel pressure sender - G247-

❑ Before installing, coat front sealing taper and threads with clean engine oil.
❑ 22 Nm

20 - 22 Nm
21 - Pressure limiting valve

❑ Before installing lightly moisten O-rings with clean engine oil.
❑ Renew removed valve.
❑ Press in by hand using an 8 mm hexagon key.

22 - Bolt

❑ 30 Nm + 90° (

❑ Tighten fuel rails evenly from inside to outside.
