♦ Torque wrench - V.A.G 1331-

Removing:
– Remove the intake air duct -1- and -2- from the air filter

– Unscrew the upper securing bolts for radiator cowl -arrows-.
– Remove noise insulation ⇒ General body repairs, exterior;

Rep. gr. 66 ; Noise insulation; Assembly overview - noise in‐

sulation .

– Unclip coolant hose from the radiator cowl.

– Disconnect connector -1- and unscrew lower securing bolts for

radiator cowl -arrows-.

– Remove radiator cowl together with fans downwards.
Installing:
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following.

Bolted connection

Torque setting

Radiator cowl to radiator

5 Nm
